Region and Island Geography

 The island of Dominica is an island south of Guadeloupe and just north of Martinique. It is a small island that is only 751 square kilometers. It just about four times the size of Washington D.C. The island is mainly consisted of 59% forest, 34% agricultural land, and 6% others. The island is very mountainous due to there being volcanic origins on the island. The highest point is 1,447 feet and it is the Morne Diabltins.
